Granville Island…Vancouver, BC

_1140352There was a street performer and a little girl started dancing with the music.

There was an unexpected visitor next to me… he was hanging around for a while just right next to me…

It was a peaceful Sunday Evening.

Granville island…Vancouver BC

Granville-island_Panorama2014 It was showery and thundery day today.

The sky was keep changing and there was heavy clouds everywhere… The sun was coming in and out.

This is the best timing for photography.Granville-island-Panorama2014-4
I went to Granville Island which used to be an industrial area and now tourist spot.
You can see the beautiful skyline of Downtown Vancouver from here.

Due to the unstable sky, I could take quite dramatic panoramas today.
First one used 12 images and merged by Adobe Photoshop. 2nd one used 9 images.

It is very hard to take photos of Downtown Vancouver and I still think this is a kind of the best way to do.

The day in Vancouver is very long… it was already 7PM and still looks like late afternoon.

English Bay… Vancouver, BC

English Bay, Vancouver, BC, Canada

This is the landscape of English Bay, Vancouver BC.

English bay is located in Downtown Vancouver and also it is a part of Stanley Park.
This is the afternoon of weekday… so it is not that busy…

It is not easy to take good shot at this place. I think those buildings are the part of the view, but if you try to use wide-angle lens, those just distort and does not look good at all.

This one is also panorama by using Adobe Bridge. 8 images were used to create this.

But look at the top left…. there is nothing but blue sky… in that case, it seems to be hard for Photoshop. So, I had to merge that part manually by Photohop.

Wreck Beach, Vancouver, BC

Wreck Beach Panorama

This is a panorama of Wreck Beach, which is famous as a Clothing-optional beach in Vancouver, BC, Canada.

This is such a wide space and it has been quite hard to shoot here. It always get really boring photos….

If you use wide-angle, everything goes further away and it looks boring.

If you try to crop a part of the landscape… again it is boring too….

So, this time, I decided to merge 8 pictures into 1 by Adobe Photoshop.

I have known this place for many years and I have tried many times, but I still think it is the best shot at this stage.

By the way our government is trying to destroy this amazing landscape.
This place is now considered as “waste land”.

We have to protest about it. Please sign the petition here!
